The SoGiv Light shoe is a creative collaboration between SoGiv Founder Edward Bogard and Singer/ Song-writer/ Actress Ledisi. The two creatives joined forces to create the socially charged shoe designed to shed light and ignite social change. Each pair features a marker for you to write the word or phrase that you would like to reflect into the world inside the 3M strip’s featured on the side panel design of the shoe. The front panel design features a unique emersion of the seven continents taken from SoGiv’s signature mark. SoGiv and the nine-time Grammy nominated singer-songwriter encourages you to “Be the light you want to see in the world.”

Our Mission

SoGiv is the world's first non-profit shoe design Co. dedicated to using shoes as pathways for philanthropy, volunteerism, and charitable causes.

Our Vision

SoGiv has adopted twenty causes, each of which receive 100% of the proceeds generated through each shoe sold. Each SoGiv shoe design reflects an organization’s logo and promotes their mission through fashion and branding. Most importantly our shoes seek to raise awareness and inspire volunteerism for the causes that impact the greatest needs in the cities we serve.

Our Impact

To date SoGiv’s Hunger Awareness shoe created for the Mid-South Food Bank in Memphis, TN has generated over 13,000 meals to families facing food insecurities and over 1,500 shoes to local children living in poverty across the Mid-South. One pair of the limited edition shoe provides 150 meals + one to a local child in need.
